This machine was designed and built with the purpose of ensuring a windshield wiper fluid tank does not leak. This leak tester was a differential leak test, which compares the leak rate difference between the master part and the test part. The leak test machine would fill part with air and monitor the leak rate of the part. Once the part passed the leak test, a cap, clips and a printed barcode was installed onto the part.
